Terms and Conditions of Reservations
- Arrivals and departures are only by confirmed appointment.
- All cats must arrive in a secure carrier. Cardboard boxes are not safe for transferring your cat.
- Vaccines must be up to date. For the safety of our guests we reserve the right to refuse guests who have not provided proof of vaccinations prior to checking in at Alley Cats.
- A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Remaining balance is due at checkout.
Required Vaccines & Immunizations
Please email us the immunization records for each guest, or have your vet clinic email them to us. Each cat registering to stay at Alley Cats Hotel must be vaccinated against:
- Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and Panleukopenia (FVRCP)
- Feline Leukaemia (FeLV)
- Fleas (Advantage or Revolution) – Required for indoor and outdoor cats
We require all guests over the age of six months to be spayed or neutered.
Vaccines need to be completed a minimum of one week prior to arrival to ensure your cat is not experiencing side effects.
If your cat is allergic to vaccines, please call us for further instructions.
Medication and Medical Conditions
Unfortunately, we can no longer accept diabetic cats or any cats that require injectable medications. Fees for medication administration can be found under Accommodations & Rates.
All guests staying for 5 days or longer are weighed on arrival. This provides a documented weight baseline should any medical attention be required. All guests that have health conditions and require medication of any nature will also be weighed upon arrival.
Although we do not anticipate any problems, we prefer to take a proactive approach and reserve the right to seek advice and necessary medical treatment, at our discretion, with all costs to be borne by the client.
We will make every effort to consult with your pet’s own veterinarian first, and we have an on-call veterinarian available when required.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We realize that life happens and sometimes plans need to be changed. Should you need to cancel or change your confirmed dates, please contact us regarding the adjustments.
At the time of booking your reservation, a 50% deposit was secured. To receive a full refund of that deposit the reservation must be cancelled 7 days prior to the actual reservation date you’ve booked. Deposit refunds are issued in the same fashion as they were received whether by credit card, debit, or e-Transfer.
If you are simply rescheduling the visit to new dates, then your deposit will be applied to the new dates.
We adhere to strict privacy and confidentiality standards and we do not share or sell your contact information.
